Sounds like there's something wrong with the screen. I have a A14 5g and the screen looks great for an LCD. Can you return the phone or maybe go to a Best Buy and compare it to the display model

I have the A14 5G. I know it is a basic phone. But it sort of works for me as a backup. But one thing that bothers me big time is the screen color. The screen color has a deep green tint. Yellow color is greenish. It hurts to look at it.
The phone has a color temperature setting under "Eye comfort". But it only reduces the blue light. The color is still uncomfortable to look at.
I am looking for something like this:

where I can select "Natural". Is there any way to do that without root?

From that internet page, pay close attention to this:Note: Some adjustments may not be available if you have the Blue light filter or accessibility color filter turned on.
Just another day in paradise.....
Do you have the A14 that let you adjust color to natural?
Personally, I use the Samsung S23 Ultra phone and I can adjust that setting. Some lower-end model Samsung phones (such as Galaxy A series) may not have the option. I cannot tell which models do or do not as I have only used the Galaxy S models over the years.
I brought up the quote from the internet site posted since you mentioned that under the "Eye Comfort" setting that your Blue Light filter was turned on in your phone. Try toggling it off to see if it resolves the issue.
It makes no difference. The "Screen Mode" option mentioned under "Display" simply isn't there.
I read somewhere that says that option is not available on phones with TFT panel. But A14 5G is not using TFT panel. Besides, even with TFT monitor, I was able to adjust the color under Windows. It seems my A14 display is forever stuck at "Vivid" mode. So annoying.
No the A series doesn't have that adjustment. The A14 screen looks almost as good as my A52 AMOLED screen other than not having deep blacks.
Can you take a screenshot and post it here?

I guess the A14 as an inexpensive phone would be like comparing a Tesla to a Yugo. You won't be getting all the bells and whistles of a Samsung Galaxy S series phone. Live with it or upgrade to a higher end phone.
I still think there's something wrong with the OP's phone. Other than not having inky blacks like a AMOLED screen, the A14 screen looks fine.
If I was going to complain about the A14 screen it would be that the auto brightness is too low. Guess they did that to save on battery.

From Insider Reviews
"The Galaxy A14 5G's screen is the best thing about the phone. Antonio Villas-Boas/Insider
The Galaxy A14 5G has a large 6.6-inch display with a sharp 1080p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses an LCD panel rather than a premium OLED panel, but I wouldn't expect more on a $200 phone. Its colors are vibrant, and the contrast is impressive for an LCD panel"
From Wired Magazine
"The 6.6-inch LCD display has a 1080-pixel resolution which is sharper than the prior model, and it looks perfectly fine"

Here is an example. The A14 5G compare to my calibrated monitor. My monitor looks a lot better in person. But my point is that there is a significant green tint on the phone. (brightness at 1/3, night mode disabled)

Looks better than the monitor to me.

Yes I do now see the green tint and it looks exactly like my A14. Color accuracy generally doesn't bother me unless flesh tones look off which I don't notice at all on the phone.
The color temperature appears a bit on the cool side which may be contributing to what you're seeing. It doesn't appear to be adjustable through the settings.
Just looked on the A52 and there are adjustments for color temperature and separate RGB slider controls as well. The coolest possible setting on the A52 is not nearly as cool as the A14

Is the image of the Simpsons on the phone on the right or left? I assume the phone image is on the right. Big difference. Could be a faulty display.
It's the image on the left. The OP is referring to the greenish tint of the yellow color in the screenshot.
Nothing wrong with the screen as it looks like that on all A14s. The color temperature is set excessively cool from the factory and unfortunately no way to adjust it using the default user settings.
