My Tracfone phones have listed "Home" as the network. They work fine with "Home".

I recently bought a Samsung S21+ (SM-G996UI) unlocked phone from Amazon Renewed. I activated it away from home (I don't get cell service here), had audio issues and swapped it for the same make and model. I will mention that both phones were activated from the exact same location.
During the activation process, I noticed under Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Network Operators - Select automatically (turned off) that the available networks on the 1st phone vs the 2nd are entirely different. The available networks listed on the 1st phone were major carriers - Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and AT&T, along with others with 6 numbers.
The available networks listed on the 2nd phone were Home, Extended Network, Home, Roam and others with 6 numbers.
Does this indicate that the 2nd phone will not connect to major networks like Verizon and T-Mobile, and the first one would?
My Tracfone phones have listed "Home" as the network. They work fine with "Home".

Are you viewing these selections with a SIM installed in the phone or not? As siilyette said, Home ought to do it, but there will only be one network available, and that is the one whose SIM card is in the slot that you're paying for service.
I replied to this person on reddit because this person asked the same question.
On my phone that I use, I used the "Select automatically" option.
It looks to me like the screenshot that shows the Major carriers was taken without an active sim while the second with Home was taken with an active sim? If I deselect the Automatic selection, all I see is Home and a couple of 6 character carrier codes on my Samsung.
