My wife & I are both on Verizon Prepaid she has a Pixel 3 and I have an iPhone 12. If I wanted to upgrade to a new iPhone 15 and give her my 12... how would this procedure work?
Would this be a seamless transition where neither of us would be without phone service?

You move your line from the 12 to the 15 by having them next to each other, on the 15, under cellular choose add esim, transfer from nearby Iphone.
Factory reset the 12, set up an apple id for your Wife, insert the sim from the pixel.
Your accounts will auto update the phones.
I might add, after you do the swap, take a look at US Mobile, you’ll get better service compared to Verizons prepaid.
Oh thank for the detailed explanation it sounds like I can avoid a trip to a store. My wife already has an Apple id for her iPad so one step less... less is good.
I live in a rural area not sure if US Mobile coverage would be as good as Verizon or not.
kaZZoo I hope you’re still around I have a few more questions as my new 15 Pro will be delivered next week.
1. When I’m transferring my data from iPhone 12 to iPhone 15 should you logout of Find My and iCloud beforehand, or after the transfer when I’m ready to reset my 12 so my wife can use?
2. You described how to transfer my Verizon Prepaid service from my old iPhone to the new one and also how to transfer service for my wife. Does this transferring service happen immediately so we’ll be able to use our phones?
3. Is there anyway to backup my wife’s Pixel 3 ‘Contacts’ and somehow get them on my iPhone 12 she will be using? Or this is just something I’ll have to manually input?
1. Need to be logged into iCloud, not sure about Find My, when you start the 15 you will get the option to transfer from your 12, follow the prompts. Don’t factory reset the 12 till every thing is up and running on the 15.
Also, if you have a PC and iTunes, its good to have a backup of your 12 and the 15 going forward.
2. Service will be immediately.
I don’t have any primary androids, do a search on “ contacts from android to iPhone “
You’ll get several options thru bluetooth, but, I have never done it.
Added. If the phone number doesn’t transfer over to the 15, go to settings, cellular, then add eSim and follow the prompts.
