Where'd you find that ? All I can find on their website is 30GB for $40.
Correction: $10 per month.
I tried this for a month now. I have it on my Quanta D53 hotspot to stream NFL games mainly. Surprisingly it’s pretty good, especially for only $10 a month- all in after a $5 autopay discount. Just wondering what the “basic” is compared to regular. Anyone else have this plan?

I switched my $10 2GB Mobile Internet plans over to this $10 Basic 30GB Mobile Internet plan earlier today.
There is no information online about this plan. However, I messaged T-Force and they happily switched the plans. I have no idea how long this plan has been around or for how long it will be available.
The T-Force representative said after 30GB, data speeds are reduced to 600kbps. However, all Mobile Internet plans that T-Mobile has offered in the past are throttled to 128kbps. I am skeptical about this plan being throttled to 600kbps after 30GB. Also, all detectable video streaming is throttled to around 2.5Mbps with no option to stream video at a higher resolution.
Has anyone on this plan exceeded 30GB and tested the throttle? Is it truly 600kbps? Or 128kbps? It's gonna take me some time to blow through 30GB, especially if video is throttled to 2.5Mbps. But, for $10 a month for a 30GB Mobile Internet plan, that's a great deal and I cannot complain.

So is this a prepaid plan? How do you go about getting it? I am curious if it’s throttled after 30GB as well, as I had a 6GB Simple Choice plan that didn’t seem to have any issues blowing way past 6GB a month - as long as the SIM was in a phone or tablet.
I ended up cancelling it, as for $25 there are a lot better options these days.
But $10 for 30GB would work great for a few things I could use it for.

It appears to be a postpaid plan and you need autopay in order to get the price from $15 to $10.
Here's a reddit thread with info:

Why's the title say $5 instead of $10?

Maybe a moderator can change the title.
Also per what I'm reading, this thread should probably be moved to the postpaid forum. schippma, you got this added to your postpaid account, correct?
I corrected the title.
What is the difference between the tax included and tax excluded plans?
The descriptions sound identical.
@admins -Thank you for correcting the title! And apologies for posting this incorrectly in the prepaid section.
FYI, if you have a T-Mobile account, you can simple click on "Change my Plan" and the drop down should allow you to choose this plan.
Also, as I have mentioned it in Reddit, I think this plan is so worth it because of the In-Flight free WiFi use. You get 4 full flight sessions plus Unlimited 1-hour sessions per flight, So this has come in handy for all my short flights up and down the west-coast from the Bay Area.

Tax included means all taxes and fees are included in the monthly reoccurring charges of the plan. The cost of the plan is exactly $15 without auto pay, $10 with auto pay enabled.
Tax excluded means taxes and fees are not included in the monthly reoccurring charges of the plan. The cost of the plan is $15 + taxes and fees without auto pay, $10 + taxes and fees with auto pay enabled.
All T-Mobile accounts are either tax included or tax excluded depending upon which plan that account is currently enrolled. A tax included account cannot have a tax excluded plan and vice versa, hence the difference in plans, one compatible with a tax included account and one compatible with a tax excluded account.
Likely no international roaming data.
But both T&T should be available over a local data sim or hotspot via WiFi Calling at no extra charge, assuming that feature is working before you leave.
Not all phones are compatible, if not a flag$hip, the TMO branded model is the best bet rather than factory unlocked.
