I think the " *At 2G speeds..." verbiage is a bad copy paste from the $35 plan which is throttled to 2G speeds after 10 GB. The silver plan has "unlimited" handset data so the asterisk is saying after unlimited data is used speeds will be throttled to 2G speeds.

All "unlimited" data plans probably have a secret high speed data cap somewhere between 60GB and 300 GB.

All Straight Talk plans are subject to deprioritization when the network is congested. The Silver plan has "unlimited" high speed data. Prepaid "unlimited" data plans have a secret limit, probably somewhere between 60 and 300 GB.

    Maybe on TF family providers.

I have many plans that let me hit 800+GB/mo no pro lem, and lots of reports of going over 1TB on Visible

Getting deprioritized during congestion, is a completely different factor from the usually lowered priority assigned to MVNOs and subsidiary providers at the best of times.

Best to clarify that when answering such questions, posed by people who may not know.
