Got an email today from Tracfone with the subject line saying I could get the A03s for less than $50, so clicked on it excitedly.
Sure enough, it was less than $50 - by a penny!

A lot of businesses do the same thing, "less than" or "up to" in order to get customers' attention.
I bought an A03s from HSN several months ago. It was $49.99 with 1 yr and 1500 min/txt/MB. They had $20 off for first time customers so it was $29.99 +tax. This was mentioned somewhere in another thread so I jumped at it. It's a basic smart phone & it works for me.
That's a great price for the plan, even if you give the phone away
What, you were expecting "less than $50" to mean $19.99?
Did you actually check this out? Maybe it actually is $19.99. As we should all know by now, what's on the page MAY NOT actually be what you see at checkout or get charged to your credit card.
Then, after getting confirmation, there' no guarantee they won't cancel the order or recall the order after shipping.
Website is full of bugs and there's not telling where the bugs lie until it's in your hands.
That's the only truth here![]()
AlexTrac sent me not one, but two, PMs asking me to contact TF about this! One PM yesterday, one today!

sent me a PM as well. Guess BOTS can't tell when someone is being facetious
Speaking of "bot", on Reddit Mint Mobile there's a bot called "MintMobileAlex". Do you think AlexTrac is moonlighting for TF's competitor?![]()
This discussion is not much different than a gas station advertising gas @ $2.999/gallon instead of $3.00/gallon. The average consumer only sees the slightly lower price, albeit almost insignificant.
Just another day in paradise.....
