That's a shame!![]()
Do you know what is causing the delays? If it's working for testing why don't they just turn it on now all together?
I have a Treo 600 and just tried to send an SMS without luck.

Ok, from what I've been told (this is as good as information gets), SMS is delayed until December 22nd and possibly even into early January.
It SHOULDN'T be delayed much longer after that unless something goes horribly wrong.
Now users have been reporting that they have used the two-way SMS already, this is actually true because Sprint is turning cities on for testing purposes. YOU WILL be able to use it before launch if your location is enabled and you have a MO-SMS enabled phone.
I am looking into pricing as of this posting, if I can get the info I will post back later in this thread.

bummer.
I also just tried and it didn't work. Guess I'm not in the test market.
TreoSMS is worth the money for now. It works flawlessly with the system and I like the seamless integration.
Delays are pretty much from testing out the new SMSC centers. It takes times to troubleshoot them.

You sprint guys are so so lucky!!! I want mo sms too!!!![]()
LoL... That is one thing both Sprint and Nextel have been lacking for years... MO-SMS. Now tDAWG knows that the Moto phones come equipped to handle MO-SMS and can simply turned on my editing a codeplug file with a program from Moto... it's just that Nextel has it disabled because they also offer Web-based messaging... its layout however was much better than Shortmail's layout.Originally posted by tDAWG
