yup your just plain crazy.
what is it when i make a call and its goes "Ring, Ring, Ring, Bloop, Ring, Ring, Ring, Bloop" does anybody know what im talking about or am i crazy? lol
nah thats ********, i know it means something, its like a different sound not a ring a sound after the end of the set of rings before a new set starts, somebody has to know what im talking about
It means that the number you are calling is currently in use. (i.e. they may be in a phone call, checking voicemail, calling you, etc.)
You are not crazy. I have the same thing on my CIngular phone. While my Nextel does not do it as frequently as my Cingular phone, I do know the beep of which you speak. However, I am sorry to say I do not know the origins of the beep. It does not affect service so I have never felt the need to inquire as to its origins. Do not feel crazy, the beep really does exist.

If you get a call or message while you're on the phone, it will beep at you. When this happens again, try looking at the screen. Does it ask you to answer another call, or just continue to tell you that you're on the phone?

Lol! Anyways I noticed that beeping sound only comes on when I call a Verizon customer who is already in the middle of a call. It doesn't happen with any other carrier.
