"What is the best way to bookmark weather for my phone? If I choose wap.yahoo.com I have to select USA, then enter my zip, then I get my weather. Can't I just bookmark it somehow?"

-use tagtag.com or winksite and set up your own homepage to 'bookmark' all the sites you want to go to. problem solved.

-use a secure wap proxy. problem solved.

-yes. or pay the $ and not bother with it ever again.
seems like you guys tryin to set up your own proxies are putting just as much time and effort into it, not to mention money, as it would take for you to just pay verizon and get what you want.

If you have your Yahoo accnt.

here is how you can login into it
    http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/raw?dp=auth&src=home&login=user&passwd=pass

replace "user" with your user name and "pass" with your password

So I guess waptunnel.com (what I'm using) is not secure?

    What wap are you using?

I use mobileweb4u. It is only a $1 per month.

If you use waptunnel, I think I had problems with Yahoo and waptunnel.

I have seen a couple of posts concerning errors of this type:

the resource type text/html is not present in the client acceptabe media types set

Most of these reference trying to get to tagtag.com/mail.

I haven't seen any answers, though. Anyone? Anyone?

I've seen this error before when trying to access a page that's not coded for WAP. The VX6000 browser does not support standard HTML code, which it seems is what you were trying to access when you got that error. It's one of the downfalls of WAP
