Can someone post the limit for mp3, ringtones, apps? There was a huge thread that the beta testers had started that had all that info and for the life of me I can not find it now. Spent a couple of hours searching and no luck. Anyone have the link to it???

Re: BitPim, are you using the older software (.25) vs. the newer version (.26)? According to Brandondork, the older .25 works (better).

BitPim is weird, cuz when I was using my computer I had the new verison (.6) but when my computer crashed, .6 didn't work, so I downloaded the older (.5) and that works fine for me.

Hopefully ver. .27, whenever it's released, will fix these bugs and specifically have a choice for VX8000.

active speakerphone, plug in ur headset, call someone, close the phone, and then unplug the speakerphone.
answering by speaker phone, u already would have it activated, then when someone calls you open the phone

Cool! Hopefully someone who has the VX8000, data cable, and already uses BitPim can shed more light.

I'm still in the process of getting a data cable and will get it after my 15-day trial ends.

I was wondering the same thing. The first time I used speakerphone, I assumed it would work even w/ the flip closed (like using a headset). I wound up hanging up on my friend, LOL. Too bad the phone doesn't have an option for this part.

QPST gives you more of an understanding and let's see experiment and do more stuff. But the steps are in akadoejjel's link above. They work, just remember to backup your phone and don't mess up.

Any one know when we will be able to get the data cables for the 8000? I'm too chicken to use the one from my 7000
Signature? I am never any good at these so I'll just put my email address.
