Verizon Site updated with more minute plans

Verizon updated its site tonight to incorporate the
    newer plans with more minutes.
    FLORIDA-------------------------------------------------
    --------------------------------------------------------------
Americas Choice (including the $4.99 promo)
    OLD: (10/15)
    $39 300min, $49 400min, $ 59 550min, $79 900min, $104 1200min.

    NEW: (10/27)
    $39 400min, $49 500min, $59 700min, $79 1200min, $104 1500min, $154 2500min, $204 3500min.
    (100 more), (100 more), (150 more), (300 more), (300 more), (500 more), (500 more)

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Local Choice (including the $4.99 promo)
    OLD: (10/15)
    $39 500min, $49 650min, $59 800min, $79 1100min, $104 1600min.

    NEW (10/27)
    Only two plans changed: $79 1500 min, $104 2000min.
    (400 more), (400 more)
    -------------------------------------------------------------

The AC plans give you more promo minutes progressively as you go to a
higher plan, but the Local Plans do not. They just have the standard 100 more
peak minutes that was introduced on the 15th.
This means on the $39 plan you get 100 more minutes with the
LC plan than the AC plan, $49 plan there are 150 more min,
$59 plan 100 more min, $79 plan 300 more min, $104 plan 500 more min.
I'm going to call Verizon and ask them if this is right. If they are increasing the
AC minutes more and more as you go to a higher plan, why don't they do it
    on the LC plans?

I just called Verizon about the new AC plans and they did not know anything about them at least in Ohio.

    Hey Rockafella...

I really hope that this "NEW" plan is not for certain regions of the country. It should be for everyone, particularly the AC Plan. Rocafella....do you know if the new promo anytime minutes plan will be rolled out nationwide?

Still no update here in Southwern California. What is going on with you Verizon?
    Devilish

Use the provider with the best coverage for you and your area not the provider with the best handset in your pocket.

I just checked out some other Zip codes and didn't see any
    updates to the Calling Plans.
When you go the Verizon site, put in Zip 33442 and you can
see the ones that I am talking about.
I would think that the AC plans would be the same across the
country, and Local Choice Plans vary from market to market.

Why isn't this being rolled out nationwide? This seems like it would be a good step for Verizon to take in terms of competing with the other providers for plans...

Then I don't know what the problem is. I just checked out the
web site again, and under Americas Choice it has those
extra minutes listed under the "Promotion" column for 33442.
Friend of mine in NY and a cousin in CA both can see it when
typing in a Zip code from a "southern" state.

I called Verizon as well and they did confirm that those
plans are correct. The lady said that the extra AC mintues will
be for all areas, but the web site might not be compleatly updated
    yet.

I'm an indirect in the West Area, and as of today it wasn't updated in eRoes *our activation system* either. Still shows the same old minutes.
