On a slightly different topic, does anyone know if the 6682 is going to support ActiveSync? Nokia just licensed it January, and this seems like the perfect handset to launch it with, but somehow I'm doubting it.
Anyway have any inside info on this? Is it possible they'll make it available for newer S60 phones after the fact?

I hope Cingular releases this phone within 30 days. I'm getting my 2nd 6682 from Nokia Friday and sending the one I have currently back to em. So hopefully Cingular releases this phone before September and I can return the 2nd one and get it $200 cheaper through Cingular

I'm so far over waiting for this phone now I'll doubt I'll get it. Besides, I don't want a phone that everyone on Cingular has and I probably don't need a smartphone. Maybe I'll wait for the 6270 since its quad band.

I just called the NBO line and the rep said that the 6682 will be officially available as of tomorrow, the 5th of August through their NBO dept.
he couldnt comment if the phone would also be available through regular telesales but he did say that it will be available on the 5th through NBO sales.
so it looks like I'll be calling in tomorrow morning. I'll keep you guys posted.
