How to increase the time before call goes in voicemail

    Hello all,

I have a sony ericsson T610 and monthly plan from FIDO. My phone goes in voice mail after ringing just for 10 seconds. Some times the call goes in voice mail before I take it out from my pocket and have a look at the number.

Is it a phone problem or mobile service provider's setting? Could anyone please advise?

    Thanks,

    SE

call customer care. They will need to transfer you to someone who has access to teh HLR (Network admin stuff) and increase it there.

does this still work? or has the rogers default 20 seconds kick in?

be interesting to see if it works on rogers now if it still works...not that I care, 20 seconds is more than enough...

    Dial this code:

    **61*3436*30#

The "30" means seconds, approximately 6 rings. I believe it can be between 5 and 30.

my 6020b has an option in the settings with 5 to 30 seconds and it works....so the 20sec standard rogers is either not there or over-ridden.

If you ever leave Canada using 3436 will result in a non-completed forward to voicemail. You should use your local voicemail centre number. e.g. **61*+16046181123*30# (for thirty second delay before transferring if your number is in Vancouver.)
