In order to get the vibrate Then ring function back, you need to edit seem 2742 length 90.
In offset 7b, you need to turn off bit 3 and turn on bit 4.
Thanks to double.k for sending me his Alltel seem so that this info could be found.
Also, if you want more volume options for you ringers, in offset 7b turn off bit 2 and turn on bit 7.

This is awesome. Great work! Now its even harder to not go to the store and buy right now--> I would be en route if we could figure out how to shut dashboard (verizon's UI) off.
Good work, that was a major deal breaker for me...

seem 2742, record ?, bytes (h)
fill in ? please
I downloaded p2kseem but now I need the drivers, I can connect to my phone fine with bitpim and MPT but not p2kseem it tries to install drivers but fails because I don't have them
so is there now an added option in the ring settings that says "vibe then ring" or is the vibrate just added to the "master volume" setting?
Awesome! Now I have to learn how to edit the seems...Originally Posted by woffordk

ppl who need help
download P2Kseem (google it)
when it asks you for drivers use these http://www.v710.org/mark/Files/E815-...riverPack1.zip
and go from there (I am on winxp using the mini usb cable)
