If you will only use SIM cards, then your only choice is Rogers.

Don't bother with anything other than the $60/25MB per month plan.

    Only Rogers ?

I thought Telus had SIM cards too....aww man

anyways...the 60 dollar plan is a bit pricy for me, plus the extra voice plan too...or is it included with the 60 dollars ?

Only Rogers and Telus MIKE (which does have Blackberry) use SIM technology in Canada. Forgive me, as I forgot about Telus Mike.

AFAIK, you can pair any voice plan that's available with a BB plan (regardless of carrier).

Even moderate use with a BB will quickly eat up the smaller plans. Therefore I recommend the $60 plan for both Rogers and Telus.

too bad the best pricing by far is with Bell Mobility $60 unlimited - just data only though. or $100 for unlimited blackberry and unlimited modem with a laptop.

It's more or less a wash in Toronto when it comes to BlackBerry data. Bell, MiKE, Robbers, Telus all offer a $40, $60 plan some like Bell also offer a $90-$100+ price plan. If you ask me it really comes down to data and caps. Eg. where as Telus offers 5MB for their $40 plan Robbers offers 1MB and where as Bell caps the $60 unlimited plan at 50MB Robbers caps theirs at 25MB. Network wise Rogers has made the move to EDGE but I really think with Bell and Telus moving to EV-DO is where it's at!

    On the Bell web site:

*Bell Mobility considers usage in excess of 500 MB of data per month on this plan to be abusive, and reserves the right to charge such excess usage at a rate of $3/MB or otherwise limit such excess usage.

True but they have yet to enforce the cap.. it's really only as a precaution for people who do continually abuse it or try to run a router/wireless lan off a data connection.

Mine at $100 has no cap - not that I can't see myself using more than 100 -200 mb a month anyways.

So true! I still haven't gotten the speed test that I found in here to work but surfing and downloading all the free games and ringtones in one of the links was very fast. However where I live isn't in the EVDO footprint, when I'm in it..it's great!
